Dreamforce 2021: Everything You Need to Know

Salesforce hosted its mega event of the year, Dreamforce from September 21 to September 23, 2021, in San Francisco. It is a single platform and event which brings users of Salesforce around the world in one place. Making it a global platform for the Salesforce community to learn new things about the products of Salesforce, exchange information, and share ideas. Dreamforce attracted more than 170,000 attendees in the previous year’s making it one of the biggest global tech conferences. Dreamforce 2020 was a virtual event due to COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown. For the first time in 17 years, Dreamforce took place virtually. Although some community members were disheartened, the virtual event gave millions of excited members across the globe an opportunity to attend the conference virtually. 

This year Dreamforce hosted various informative and exciting sessions for in-person invited only guests and for attendees of the virtual event. Health Cloud 2.0 was unveiled by Salesforce at this year’s Dreamforce conference. It is a completely new digital platform that h empowers businesses and governments to ensure the well-being of communities, workforces, and customers. This product will help you organize and host meetings safely by facilitating seamless tracing of contact, delivering hybrid healthcare solutions, and administering vaccinations. 

Introducing The Trusted Enterprise Playbook

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is facing different types of crises. Hence, it is crucial for businesses to deal with these crises by doing the right things. The Trusted Enterprise Playbook by Salesforce will enable businesses and organizations to earn people’s trust by building their capacity to use and install cutting-edge technology in their day-to-day businesses. 

Sustainability Cloud 2.0 is Here

Salesforce released Sustainability Cloud 2.0 which is an innovative solution for lessening carbon footprint. This will enable businesses and corporations to track and reduce the carbon footprint their activities are leaving behind. This solution will allow organizations to plan out the most effective path to transform themselves into Net Zero entities. The Founder and CEO of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, took the opportunity provided by Dreamforce and proudly announced to thousands of Salesforce community members that Salesforce achieved its goal and is now a Net Zero carbon emitting company. He also mentioned that Salesforce is now completely powered by energy from renewables sources. Salesforce stays true to its sturdy commitment to combat climate change and do better for the environment. 

Magic of Mulesoft Composer

Integration of data and automation of processes becomes more essential as companies grow bigger. In their session, the Mulesoft team showcased how organizations and businesses have the opportunity to leverage the Mulesoft Composer to tackle data silos and instead transform them to blocks of productivity. The Mulesoft team also demonstrated how to make the best of robotic process automation and APIs to ensure efficient businesses.

Unleash the Power of Tableau AI

Tableau’s team showed the ability of the AI to transform gargantuan volumes of data in a matter of seconds. The team also mentioned that companies can use this powerful AI application with limited knowledge of coding. The team believes that for companies to make the right decisions at the right time, they will need accurate and fast access to data. Tableau AI will do just that for you!

Creating and Automating Apps

Dreamforce 2021 was the perfect event to demonstrate how to create and automate apps quickly to Salesforce Administrators. Most Salesforce Administrators find it difficult to automate and create apps with minimal expenditure and effort. Hence, they were shown how to use low code tools to develop apps and automate them in a short time. 

Dealing with 5vs of Data

The 5vs of business data are data variety, data velocity, data veracity, data volume, and data value. Companies in this new and advanced age need to deal with the Vs of business data to grow and evolve. Salesforce thoroughly explained how Salesforce products such as Hyperforce and Salesforce CDP can help companies to deliver the best customer experience by making the most use of business data. 

Backing up Data with the Help of Salesforce

Data backup can be a time-consuming and tedious process. Many companies every year lose thousands of data due to lack of knowledge or tools. Hence, Salesforce launched their new tool, Backup and Restore. It is the perfect tool to automate data backups daily and restore the data safely with a few clicks!

Revamping IT Infrastructure Maintenance

Salesforce launched an innovative solution for businesses to properly maintain their IT infrastructure. Salesforce Function, newly launched by Salesforce, will help companies to reduce responsibilities regarding IT infrastructure. The Salesforce Function will help businesses to integrate and develop Functions-as-a-Service (FaaS) apps using the tools and language of their preference. Thus, helping companies to save huge amounts of money and time to maintain their IT infrastructure.
